Trackmania is a series of racing games developed by Nadeo, where players race against the clock to set the fastest times on highly varied tracks. It is known for its unique blend of speed, stunts, and user-generated content.
Game Modes[edit]
Trackmania offers various game modes:
- Race: The main mode, where players race on time attack-based tracks.
- Stunt: Players gain points for performing tricks in a limited amount of time.
- Puzzle: Players complete a semi-built track with a set amount of blocks, allowing for different configurations to get the fastest possible time.
- Platform: Players complete more mechanically-difficult courses with an emphasis on not respawning, with only the Author Medal having a time requirement.
- Multiplayer: Compete against others in online races.

Trackmania Titles[edit]
The Trackmania series has several games:
- Trackmania (2003): The original game (later referred to as TrackMania Original) that started the Trackmania franchise and introduced the first 3 environments - Alpine (Snow), Speed (Desert) , Rally. This version received an expansion: "TrackMania PowerUp (2004)".
- TrackMania Sunrise (2005): Introduced 3 additional environments - Island, Coast, Bay. This version received an expansion: "TrackMania Sunrise eXtreme (2005)"
- TrackMania Nations ESWC (2006): A free-to-play game with an international competition which introduced a new environment - Stadium.
- TrackMania United (2006): A compilation of all previous games with added features.
- TrackMania Nations Forever (2008): A free-to-play re-imagination of "TrackMania Nations ESWC" with new features.
- TrackMania United Forever (2008): A compilation of all previous games with added features.
- TrackMania DS (2008): A compilation of all previous games ported into Nintendo DS edition.
- TrackMania Turbo (2010): Another game made for the Nintendo DS.
- TrackMania Build To Race (2011): A compilation of all previous games ported into Nintendo Wii edition.
- TrackMania² Canyon (2011): After acquisition by Ubisoft, developer Nadeo has introduced a new environment "Canyon" which is based around original "Desert" environment within "Maniaplanet".
- TrackMania² Stadium (2013): Re-imagination of "TrackMania Nations" within "Maniaplanet", including few new features and items.
- TrackMania² Valley (2013): Introduced a new environment - "Valley" which is somewhat of a rework of base "Rally" environment from previous games.
- Trackmania Turbo (2016): Released primarily for console market, but also PC - available on PS4 and XBOX1 with introduction of VR version as well. It also introduced a new environment - "Lagoon".
- TrackMania² Lagoon (2017): Imported from "TrackMania Turbo" into "Maniaplanet" as 4th and last environment ever introduced into this version. Resembling mix of "Bay" and "Island" environments from previous games.
- Trackmania (2020): A modern reimagining of the classic game, with introduction of a subscription based model to access all features.
