Fullspeed

Fullspeed (FS) is a Trackmania style where the player (usually) does not let go of acceleration. Common features of a fullspeed map include:

  • high speeds, oftentimes enough to initiate a speedslide.
  • long, flowing turns
  • loops, wallrides, and other gravity-defying features

Many fullspeed tracks emphasise speed preservation and snowballing, where a small speed gain or loss early on may have a significant impact.

Many FS tracks are transitional, as with other styles. Some of these tracks may be termed Fullspeed Stunt (FST) tracks. Tracks within this sub-style are distinct in that they feature the creative use of blocks to create unique transitions, often featuring stunts like backflips or barrel rolls not commonly found in regular FS tracks. Additionally, they feature a much higher (usually Lunatic) level of difficulty. A prominent example of this is the Classic Track named Brace Yourself by Joost.
