SnowA5 is a track in TrackMania United Forever, set in the Snow environment. The layout consists of a slight left-hand turn followed by a right-hand turn, a downhill section, a right-hand U-turn, and finally a slope up and down into the finish, with the last section taking place inside a tunnel.

World Record History[edit]

SnowA5’s world record history is defined by extremely tight competition rather than major strategic discoveries. The track has remained a pure precision challenge, with improvements coming from cleaner lines and more consistent execution.

The current world record is held by Luffy, who achieved a time of 18.11 on 3 August 2022. Despite the track being heavily contested at the top of the leaderboard, this record remains untied, with six separate runs of 18.12 recorded at the time of writing.

Strategies[edit]

The core strategy on SnowA5 is simply to drive as close to the inside walls of each turn as possible in order to minimize distance and maintain speed. This becomes more challenging in the tunnel section, where the walls have slightly larger hitboxes between the supporting pillars, increasing the risk of collisions and speed loss.

Tool-Assisted Speedruns[edit]

The TAS for SnowA5 mirrors the real-time world record route. Rather than introducing new techniques, it demonstrates near-perfect execution of the same lines with extremely high precision.
