Gbx (also written as GBX) is an abbreviation of GameBox.[1]
The term Gbx is used for multiple internal purposes:
- Gbx file extension: Nadeo's proprietary file format to store data.
- GbxGame.exe: Original file name of the game executable, appearing in games based on Maniaplanet builds.
- GBXRemote: Name of the XML-RPC protocol used to communicate with dedicated servers.
