In TrackMania United Forever, the Official Mode is a feature on Official Tracks that allows you to upload your replays to the Official Leaderboards.
In Maniaplanet, Official Mode used to exist until the release of Maniaplanet 4, released in 2017. It included a 5-minute timer, giving you 1 official attempt every 5 minutes. The timer would then become green color.
