The most notable is when a Turbo Roulette is placed right after the start block: going straight reaches the booster at 1.58s, giving the 150% booster, but intentionally going on the side right from the starts allows players to consistently lose around .3s, getting the 200% boost.

Turbo (booster) is a special block that applies an acceleration multiplier while driving on it. In TMUF, there are three types of turbos, which correspond to 3 different Material IDs:

  • Turbo (normal turbo, 100% boost)
  • Turbo2 (red turbo, 200% boost)
  • Turbo roulette (random turbo, 100 to 200%)
