Heftrick is an advanced driving technique used in TrackMania Nations Forever, primarily on Stadium tracks featuring roulette boosters. Named after the player Hefest, this maneuver allows players to optimize their speed by strategically avoiding lower-tier speed boosts.

In Trackmania, players can encounter boosters that cycle through different levels of acceleration boost: 100%, 150%, and 200%. The Heftrick involves driving along the road border to skip the 100% and 150% phases, allowing players to directly access the more powerful 200% boost. This is crucial because each booster you drive over will override the tier set by the previous one, which may result in reduced acceleration.

To successfully perform the Heftrick, players must carefully steer along the edge of the road, without making contact with the wall, to bypass the 100% and 150% boosters while maintaining speed.
