The Royal game mode was a multiplayer mode in Trackmania (2020) where players competed in teams to finish obstacles of increasing difficulty to earn points. It was announced and added to the game on June 12th 2021[1]. Royal matchmaking was removed on July 1st, 2025[2], but it is still possible to play Royal tracks in solo mode or in the Royal Time Attack gamemode on a server. The introduction of Royal also involved the addition of the plastic and water surfaces, as well as dynamic items, to the game as a whole.[1]
