The Royal game mode was a multiplayer mode in Trackmania (2020) where players competed in teams to finish obstacles of increasing difficulty to earn points. Royal matchmaking was removed on July 1st, 2025[2], but it is still possible to play Royal tracks in solo mode or in the Royal Time Attack gamemode on a server. The introduction of Royal also involved the addition of the plastic and water surfaces, as well as dynamic items, to the game as a whole.[1]
