* [[Dead Turtle]]: When upside-down and not wobbling, the car is in what is considered to be a '''dead turtle'''. The car will slowly move at around 1 speed in a seemingly random but constant direction.
* '''Two wheel''': The stadium car can rarely get stuck on its side, in what is known as a '''two-wheel'''. The car will exhibit the same properties as when in a dead turtle.
* Default movement even occurs when the car is on all four wheels. Likely due to floating point errors, the car is constantly moving at 0.00000097 speed even when not accelerating or on a slope.

Default movement is a phenomenon where the car will slowly move when seemingly stationary without the need for pressing any inputs. This behaviour can be seen more clearly when the car is in a “dead turtle” or "Two wheel" position.

Types of Default Movement[edit]

  • Dead Turtle: When upside-down and not wobbling, the car is in what is considered to be a dead turtle. The car will slowly move at around 1 speed in a seemingly random but constant direction.
  • Two wheel: The stadium car can rarely get stuck on its side, in what is known as a two-wheel. The car will exhibit the same properties as when in a dead turtle.
  • Default movement even occurs when the car is on all four wheels. Likely due to floating point errors, the car is constantly moving at 0.00000097 speed even when not accelerating or on a slope.
  • When stuck on a single rail, the car will slowly move forward.

Uses[edit]

Default movement has been used to shortcut some maps, notably "This track is possible", made by igntuL in 2011, which Wirtual covered in this video.
