== Notable Features ==
This game includes a unique mode not found in later releases: Survival mode. In this mode, players race against ghost opponents, aiming not to finish last. Finishing in 2nd place allows the player to skip one map, while 1st place grants a two-map skip. At each stage, two maps are randomly presented, and the player must choose which to race—or skip if eligible.
