In TrackMania United Forever, the Official Mode is a feature on Official Tracks that allows you to upload your replays to the Official Leaderboards.

In Maniaplanet, Official Mode used to exist until the release of Maniaplanet 4, released in 2017. It included a 5-minute timer, giving you 1 official attempt every 5 minutes. The timer would then become green color. Official mode was prompted upon pressing the Delete button when the countdown reached 0:00 and you had the choice to do an official run, or be asked again in 1 minute.^{[was it 1 minute?]}

Since Maniaplanet 4, every solo run is considered official. When playing in offline mode, the run is uploaded to the leaderboards next time the game is opened in online mode.
